Synopsis:
ESTRANGED - German director Stephan Mursch's graduation film is a 20-minute documentary shot on locations in Berlin, Germany in March 2009. The film follows 32-year old homosexual Markus Ecke who - after long treatment at a psychiatric facility - embarks on a journey to regain control over his own life. The film was produced in cooperation between the Arts University College at Bournemouth and the University of Film- & Television "Konrad Wolf" (Potsdam, Germany).
