Synopsis:
What happens to a convict during all the years he spends on `Death Row’? What happens to the families of convicts on death row? Are those years almost like serving 2 punishments – a life sentence on death row, and then death itself? Why is EVERY convict on death row an extremely poor individual? CNN-IBN’s Divya Iyer travels to the homes of convicts granted clemency and to families who are condemned to wait for their family member to die. We also meet families of murder victims to ask whether they could ever forgive. The documentary tries to understand the traumatized lives of the real stake-holders in the long-standing death-penalty debate.
