Synopsis:
Lizzy Piffany is an artist and musician with an unusual take on spirituality. This is the story of her awakening.
When Lizzy discovers she is being evicted from her beloved flat, she knows the universe is trying to tell her something. Her best friend and ex-boyfriend Tim lives just down the road, and she has become addicted to the security of having him around. When he gets a new girlfriend too, the universe isn’t just hinting any more—it’s giving her a direct call. A string of meaningful coincidences in the midst of her grief lead her on a strange adventure where she receives other-worldly intuitions about her life’s purpose, and a mystical encounter with thunder and lightning proves she has nothing to fear.
Lizzy’s consciousness is changed forever and normal life is no longer possible: propelled forward by the universe from the security of her lost home, she makes a radical decision to find a new kind of home – no longer constrained by bills and walls.
A real-life parable portrayed through a blend of original music, home movies, and Lizzy’s private diary tapes, Dawn is a moving attempt to show the poetry of everyday experience.
