"My goal was to tell an intimate and emotional story and show how someone can honour the memory of a loved one and begin the healing process by coming to terms with their loss by remembering them in a positive way. I wanted a strong resolution to the documentary as I felt this was essential to the narrative journey I wanted to take the audience on."
