Kerry Preston is a 22 year old woman from the UK. Sadly her Uncle Shaun passed away after a battle with Bowel Cancer. The documentary follows Kerry on her quest to discover more about the disease from the Bowel Cancer UK organisation and research ways to raise money for the charity before making the brave decision to undertake a sponsored sky dive. Join Kerry as she discusses what her uncle meant to her and her Grandma- Shaun’s mother, researches Bowel Cancer and Skydiving, is interviewed live on BBC radio and undertakes her intensive training and parachute jump. "My goal was to tell an intimate and emotional story and show how someone can honour the memory of a loved one and begin the healing process by coming to terms with their loss by remembering them in a positive way. I wanted a strong resolution to the documentary as I felt this was essential to the narrative journey I wanted to take the audience on."
