Tereza was born with a congenital defect which led to a kidney transplant. She is a long-term yoga practitioner and trained yoga teacher. She is passionate about yoga. A few years ago she had a major stroke. She had to learn how to stand, walk and practice yoga again. She is currently receiving haemodialysis and awaiting a second kidney transplant. She is also a trained Focuser who integrates Focusing into many aspects of her life, including her writing. Tereza has written a thesis about her experience as a Croatian folk dancer and singer, and is currently expecting an offer for publication from a publisher. Tereza feels close to the core of herself when her body, mind and spirit are in movement... She is living a full and rich life. Gilson is a a two-time Brazilian capoeira champion. His foot was severed and then reattached after a boating accident a few years ago. He had to learn how to walk and play capoeira again. Most days, he runs and trains at Sydney’s famous Bondi Beach. He owns a capoeira school where he passes on the acrobatics, dance, self-defense, music and spirituality of the sport to his students. Gilson feels a convergence of all parts of himself when he’s dancing, singing and playing... He is living a full and rich life.
