Synopsis:
The film, "Appetite for Life" (Lystin ad lifa in Icelandic), is about a young Icelandic girl who has for a number of years suffered from both bulimia and anorexia. The girl, Arna Thorsdottir, speaks openly about her illness, how it started, what has kept it going, and how it has affected her health and personal relationships in her life. Her doctor, mother, father, friends, and hairdresser tell us about the severity of Arna's situation and talk openly about what will happen if her disease goes on.
