Synopsis:
From San Francisco’s Golden Gate Bridge to the select hills of Hollywood in Los Angeles, from the sequoia forests in the far north of the most populated state in the USA to the desert vastness near San Diego on the Mexican border, the Californian coast of the Pacific extends nearly 1,200 miles along one of the most highly prized coastlines in the world.
Though filmed mostly from the air, USA FROM THE SKY descends to talk to the people along the way: a seaplane pilot in San Francisco, a “newscopter†pilot in Los Angeles, an SUV fan on the long dunes of Pismo Beach and a surfer living in one of the many “gated communities†south of Los Angeles.
Filmed in HD, the “Coasts of the United States from the Sky†is a panoramic journey along a coastline that it is both one of the wildest in the world and one of the most sought after. To approach America from the sky, along its coasts, is a new way of discovering the extreme variety of marine landscapes of the United States.
The cliffs and sequoia forests of North California answer the long beaches of Florida, the Bayous and swamps of Louisiana contrast with the wild coasts of Maine.
Here we find the most amazing megalopolises of the planet. Great cities that buzz, seduce, revitalize.
