Synopsis:
“Imagine that you were born somewhere else, ‘at the end of the world’. Imagine that you grew in an adopted family, 20,000 kilometers from your native land. Just imagine that the face of the woman who brought you into the world is completely unknown, just like those of your brothers and your sisters. Finally, imagine that one day you touched, for the first time of your life, the ground of your ancestors. Imagine that….” Maeva and Eteroa are two young people of 23 and 20 years old. Brother and sister by blood, they were born on the island from Rurutu in Polynesia, and were adopted in the first hours of life by a French couple. Thus, they grew up far from their native land. Today they question, wanting to know their origin and their culture, to discover the island which saw their birth, to grow and to fully explore life which at the moment does not satisfy them…. They decided to take this step, to leave for a tour of their native island, for an initiatory voyage which will carry out them much further they had not imagined it.
