Synopsis:
Documentary of a Dance-theatre production which features three choreographed group dances (on Lord Shiva, the River Ganga, and the Maha Kumbha Mela) interconnected with four mythological stories - sung, danced, and narrated, which explain why Shiva-worshiping ascetics attend the Maha Kumbha Mela (Great immersion) every 12 years and along with 70 million other pilgrims, plunge into the Ganges river in a bid for immortality.
