At the turn of the 20th century, there were 100,000 elephants in Thailand. Now, just 100 years later, there are less than 5,000. Our film “The Last Elephants in Thailand” is about the struggle between those who want to exploit the few remaining elephants in amusement parks, logging, circuses, zoos - and those who are working to save them.
