Synopsis:
This movie explores the heart of the process of collective elaboration of a musical piece in the six cities around Paris where composer Nicolas Frize led his project "Beings" in 2006. Gathered almost every week during the course of one year, hundreds of participants, of all ages, social horizons and highly-varied musical levels are confronted with a new experience in which the theme of the otherness is implicitly developed. While respecting the chronology of the creative process, the editing varies moments of debates, musical workshop sequences and visual and sound breakaways in the cities. Shifting literally, and figuratively, become metaphors of the theme. The further we go, the more the musical work becomes important, Nicolas Frize inspires the pleasure of a demanding, very full of imagery and humor pedagogy. Stage by stage the voices agree, the beauty appears and the visible pleasure with it.
