Mahalo for visiting my film page.
Over the past 25 years I have been dedicated to producing and directing
films that will help protect the natural world and indigenous cultures around the
world. The film I have selected to be featured in this amazing festival
is entitled "THE PUNALUU EXPERIENCE" tells the story of this sacred place on the "big island" of Hawaii along the Ka'u coast. It represents how Hawaii has inspired me to continue on this path of making films that can make a difference. Through interviews with the Hawaiian Kupuna (teachers) we learn how it is one of the last undeveloped regions in Hawaii where Hawaiians can still utilize the natural resources in traditional ways. And how it is home to some of the most endangered animals in the world. Enjoy and Mahalo for watching.
