The work goes on
I am a campaigner - it means directing is just a hobby for me. Thank you all who took the time to watch "Bleeding oil". Well, oil and fossil fuels are on of our biggest global challenges. But there are a lot more and we need to tackle them all simultaneously.

Currently I am focusing on the issues of gold mining and on the topic of tax justice. People know very little that breaking 500 000 tons of rock is necessary to obtain a ton of gold... most of which just expands the financial bubble of hungry for gold people. Only 10% of the mined gold goes into the electronics, 2-3 times more in jewellery the rest is just kept in treasuries. The environmental impact of this mining is tremendous.

On the other hand comes tax justice - tax dodgers are successful and envied in society. People seer them as lucky rich guys while they are just cheaters who can do what most of us can't - escape paying taxes. Synopsis:
A film by the CEE Bankwatch Network and Za Zemiata – Friends of the Earth Bulgaria. This is a story about the findings of an international fact-finding mission that investigated petrol companies operating in the Delta of Niger River in September 2011. Oil spills in one of the most precious ecosystems on the planet, thousands of square kilometers dead jungle, flaring gas around the petrol wells and millions of doomed and deprived people. “Bleeding Oil” is a provocation to all Europeans. The film shows us how strong the global connection between people is. It reveals what actually stands behind the mantra of the European energy security. We are the consumers, others stand in the producers’ way but all of us are slaves of a corporate reality which takes advantage of both people and nature.
