Synopsis:
Comfort, a Nigerian of 17 years; her sister, Victoria; and mother, Agnes, arrived less than a year ago in Italy, Castiglione delle Stiviere in the province of Mantua, thanks to the family reunion by the head of the family Matthew Ajiboye that he was able to obtain before he lost his job. The son, John, is left in Nigeria that might be able to join the family.
The Nigerian family Ajiboye is the protagonist of a daily routine where language is the first obstacle that has to be broken to begin a new sense of belonging.
As the President of the Italian Republic, Giorgio Napolitano remembered in the discussion with the second generation that, at times, the young foreign students feel like Italians, but they are not Italians formally under the law. The speech by President Napolitano was then watched on TV by Comfort and Victoria. The arrival of the President of the Republic at Mantua made them want to meet and thank him personally for the words of love to the new generation.
