"I'm interested in finding an island or another restricted area and do experiments... to show what could be developed in a bigger scale."
A small island in Denmark could go down in history as the testing ground where it has been experimented a new thinking way towards our world.
This in our need and search for energy.
In Samso, this the name of the island, an experimental project of the danish government is in operation.
All the electricity comes from windpower
whereas heating and hot water come from biomass and solar panel.
Consumers own windturbines and power stations.
They made this investment for their future.
Oil price doesn't bear down on their economy anymore.
Island inhabitants are not eco fanatic o long hair freaks.
They are farmers and tourist operators used to think like businessmen.
The big task of this green revolution it has been to show how green economy can be a good investment.
Not far from Samso there is Hortjshoj, an ecovillage where its inhabitants built their own house
following ecocompatibile standards and energy savings,
and Arhus, the second biggest city of Denmark.
