Valarie Kaur
We want to personally thank you for joining us in this journey. It all
began when Valarie grabbed her camera as a twenty-year old college
student and drove across the country in the aftermath of 9/11. Over the
next five years, that journey unfolded into the production of an award-
winning feature-length film. All of us who made the film were in our
twenties working for free, because we knew the story needed to be told.
The power of the story spread through word-of-mouth, and for the last
two years, we have toured with the film to 150 universities, schools,
communities, and festivals in 90 cities across America. Now there are
thousands of us who have joined the movement behind the film.
