Synopsis:
"Deep Sea Fish" is a walk through the district of Cihangir in Istanbul. The film works as a personal essay and as visual archaeological excavation seeking a world that has disappeared. The narrator looks for traces of Armenian deep sea fish, a metaphor for the extinguished Armenian life in the streets of Istanbul. While walking, the traveler observes herself. Soon she realizes that in these streets she becomes traces herself...
