Synopsis:
Edgar is a nurse who spends his day feeding the elderly, cleaning dentures and emptying bedpans ... whilst he sings. Unable to deal with the loneliness of his patients and his own fear of mortality, Edgar encourages a love affair between two senile residents who barely move. Through singing and love poems, he brings joy into their lives. The newly appointed matron has warned Edgar, patient's wills have been transferred away from their families because of love affairs within the home, and his job is on the line. Will Edgar continue to play Cupid at the risk of losing his job?
