"Sub" is a non-dialogue, music-driven journey through a fearful society living in a homemade submarine in the deep sea. In a world stricken with terror attacks and fear, a group of people once feared the end of the world and made a submarine out of junk metal. Now living deep down in the ocean for many years, they are oblivious of any possible world above them. An 8-year-old girl raised in this society finds a photo of a cloud. Not knowing what it is and inspired by its beauty compared to the claustrophobic ramshackle she lives in; she goes on a journey through the submarine and its eccentric inhabitants to discover where she can find it. Not finding an answer, she finds a secret final compartment where she is faced with a choice. Can an individual raised through fear and ignorance be brave enough to escape and see what lies above the surface?
