With massive migrations of young people to the cities, a quarter of traditional farmlands now lie idle because there is no one to work on them. And it's not just a Chinese phenomenon. The average Chinese farmer is 50 years old. But in the USA, they are 58, and in Japan, over 60. How can aging farmers feed the future? And how can farming be "re-branded" to attract the youth?
