Each year the City of London festival has a theme 'Trading Places' which celebrates the links between the City of London and other trading centres around the world. This year's theme is London and Paris, and this lecture will centre around life in London and Paris during the time of the Revolution, drawing upon Charles Dickens's masterpiece 'A Tale of Two Cities'.
