Synopsis:
The human story behind remittances from London to Ghana. This film takes a look at three families in Ghana who have relied on relatives living in London for financial security. It highlights the fragile financial situation in which many developing countries find themselves; because there is a lot of corruption, people don't trust the banks and there is little support from the government for growing businesses. With little economic stability, developing nations are effectively "floated" by money from abroad.
